Uluru Camel Cup

Join locals at this fun filled weekend of activities and experience a true Aussie outback style event. The multi-award winning Uluru Camel Cup, now in its ninth year, is a must-do on every outback travelers list.

Festivities kick off at the Uluru Camel Farm on Friday night with , live entertainment and the opportunity to bid on a favourite camel with the locals at the lively Camel Cup Calcutta.

Saturday’s celebrated Uluru Camel Cup Race Day begins with qualifying races followed by an exciting Quarter Mile Flyer, Plate Race and the Uluru Camel Cup itself. Off the track there’s plenty to see and do – helicopter flights, Outback Games, Whip Cracking, Fashions on the Field, Reptile show and food trucks.

We encourage you to frock-up (dress up for the races) and partake in the ever-popular Fashions on the Field complete with a parade and presentation.

The weekend will culminate with a true blue Frock Up & Rock Up Gala Ball set under the sparkling outback night sky, complete with a red desert dance floor, live entertainment and food trucks.

Each year Uluru Camel Racing Club will donate part proceeds to a charity whom we believe truly deserves it.

The animals aren’t thoroughbreds and it’s not quite as glamorous as the Melbourne Cup, but the Uluru Camel Cup is certainly in a league of it’s own
